Cyber Survivability Assessments for Weapons Systems
Every commander with a weapon system must answer the same questions:
"Is my system survivable? - How survivable is my system? - How can I make it more survivable? - How much will be improving its survivability cost?"
Commanders are charged with making risk-based decisions about staff and weapon systems but how can they be expected to make the best decision if they are not properly informed about the cyber survivability of their own systems?
This course walks students through the process of assessing a weapons system for its cyber survivability, how to improve, and the associated costs of the improvements. Systems referenced in the course include avionics, smart phones, cars, and satellites.
